Group Classes
Group Classes at MMPA
Our nonprofit arm, Mode Music and Performing Arts, offers a new batch of group classes every season, fall through spring (in summer we offer summer day camps!).
This year’s offerings include Ukulele 101, Songwriting Workshop, and even a Dungeons & Dragons Campaign! Head to the link below to learn more and register while spots are left.
Spring Class Schedule
We offer group classes in music and the performing arts at our nonprofit branch, Mode Music and Performing Arts (just two doors down from Mode Music West Studios West Seattle). All MMPA classes are offered at sliding-scale prices, as MMPA believes finances should never be a barrier to Arts Education.
Tiny Modes
Our music studio also offers group classes for kiddos ages 0-4 years with our Tiny Modes classes. We use both original tunes and the music of Caspar Babypants. This program encourages our littlest rockstars in movement, song, dance, play and story time all in one 45 min class. Learn more and register for classes at the link below.
Rock Bands
Mode offers group lessons for bands. This is a great way to learn about working with others to collaborate, perform, and build songs. If you or your student are trained in an instrument and interested in joining a band, let us know and we’ll help them form one!
Group Makeup Classes
Missed a lesson? Schedule too busy? We’ve got you covered.
We offer a makeup lesson every other Saturday evening. These group classes give students a chance to play and perform for other students as well as continue to learn their instrument!
Vashon Group Classes
UKULELE 101
Our Wednesday pay-what-you-can ukulele group classes allow students to learn an instrument they can take with them anytime, anywhere!
Basic instrument knowledge is introduced while learning to tune, strum, and play songs together.
Bucket Drumming
Made famous by street performers, bucket drumming allows students to focus on rhythm, tone, and correct use of sticks on a portable instrument!
Classes are every Thursday at 4:30 and, as always, all of our group classes are pay-what-you-can!
