Group Classes

Group Classes at MMPA

Our nonprofit arm, Mode Music and Performing Arts, offers a new batch of group classes every season, fall through spring (in summer we offer summer day camps!).

This fall’s offerings included Visual Arts, Theatre Classes, Songwriting Workshop, and even a Dungeons & Dragons Campaign! Head to the link below to learn more.

Fall Class Schedule

We offer group classes in music and the performing arts at our nonprofit branch, Mode Music and Performing Arts (just two doors down from Mode Music West Studios West Seattle). All MMPA classes are offered at sliding-scale prices, as MMPA believes finances should never be a barrier to Arts Education.

Tiny Modes

Our music studio also offers group classes for kiddos ages 0-4 years with our Tiny Modes classes. We use both original tunes and the music of Caspar Babypants. This program encourages our littlest rockstars in movement, song, dance, play and story time all in one 45 min class.

Join one of our weekly rock bands! Our bands are mentored by our professional, working musicians on staff and will have opportunities to perform live at our annual Friendsgiving Gala, West Seattle Summer Fest, and more. Apply your musical skills in a group setting, learn to play as a “team”, and write original tunes with your bandmates. These classes are available to our existing Mode students, as well as those not enrolled at Mode.

Group Makeup Classes

Missed a lesson? Schedule too busy? We’ve got you covered.

We offer a makeup lesson every other Saturday afternoon. These group classes give students a chance to play and perform for other students as well as continue to learn their instrument!

Financial Assistance

As firm believers in music for everyone, we don’t believe finances should be a barrier for anyone seeking an arts education. Learn more about our scholarship opportunities and sliding-scale group classes below.
